At 8 A.M. of 29th August, at the Lecture Hall in the west campus, Anqing Foreign Language School convened the school opening working conference and moral education seminar for the first semester of the 2016-2017 academic year.
Initially at the meeting, Principal Xu summarized relevant work details during the summer vacation and put forward higher standard& more specific requirements for all teachers at the beginning of the new term.
Furthermore, Principal Assistant Ling Qian issued special lecture entitled ‘Hold Profession In Awe and Veneration, Pay Respect to Science& Set Up Ideas of Overall Situation’, in which he reminded all teachers to revere profession, pay close attention to students’ physical& psychological health, abide by the rules of education& teaching, establish the overall consciousness, cultivate the concept of solidarity& cooperation and stick to three not ‘giving-ups’, which mean not giving up any student, any work idea or emotion.
In addition, Director Zhang Li with the Teaching Affair Office as well as Deputy Director Wang Changliang conducted specific arrangements with regard to the division of labor and enrollment education for Grade 7 students in the new semester.
Afterwards, Deputy Secretary Liu Qiongdan with Youth League Committee chaired the moral education seminar. The idea of ‘Morality Education First’ won unanimous support at the meeting.
To sum up, school leaders issued certificates of honor to award-winning teachers for their moral education theses. Meanwhile, school leaders proceeded strict pre-employment training for new teachers.
